Vegan Dill Dip | This easy vegan dill dip combines coconut yogurt, vegan mayo, fresh dill, garlic, and lemon juice for a refreshing and flavourful snack. It’s perfect for dipping veggies or chips, and only requires 6 ingredients.

I love dip, especially herby dips like this one. This vegan dill dip is made with plain coconut yogurt for a thick and creamy texture. It’s great for snacking with chips and veggies, for spreading on sandwiches, or using in salads or grain bowls.
Depending on the brand of coconut yogurt you use, you may or may not be able to taste a hint of coconut in it. In this dip recipe, the combination of vegan mayonnaise and lemon juice works with the coconut yogurt to provide a tangy yet neutral taste.
I didn’t get any hint of coconut in this dip, but depending on your brand of coconut yogurt, you may need to adjust the lemon juice and mayonnaise amounts. I use Plain Silk Coconut Yogurt which I find has a very minimal coconut taste anyway. It’s my favourite plant based yogurt!
Do I need to Use Fresh Dill?
Yes, I recommend using fresh dill rather than dried dill, as fresh dill has a fresher taste and a softer texture. Dried dill, like most dried herbs, has a stronger flavour than fresh dill, so if you are using dried dill, use half the amount called for in the recipe card.
What is Dill Dip Made of?
The base for this dill dip is made with coconut yogurt, vegan mayonnaise, and lemon juice to create a tangy base. Add fresh garlic for zestiness, fresh dill and chives for a refreshing herby taste, and salt for flavour.
It’s made with just 6 ingredients and is super versatile. You can customize this vegan dip by adding more herbs, more garlic, or any other add-ins you like.
