If you use coconut yogurt regularly, I’m sure you sometimes worry that your food will taste like coconut when it’s really not the place for it. In this dip recipe, the combination of vegan mayonnaise and lemon juice works with the coconut yogurt to provide a refreshing, neutral taste.
I didn’t get any hint of coconut in this dip, but depending on your brand of coconut yogurt, you may need to adjust the lemon juice and mayonnaise amounts. I use Plain Silk Coconut Yogurt. It’s my favourite plant based yogurt!
What is dill dip made of?
This dairy free dill dip recipe combines coconut yogurt, vegan mayonnaise, and lemon juice to create a tangy base. Then I add fresh garlic for zestiness, fresh dill, and chives for a refreshing herby taste, and salt for flavour.
It’s made with just 6 ingredients and is super versatile. You can customize this vegan dip by adding more herbs, more garlic, or any other add-ins you like.

Does coconut yogurt taste like coconut?
Coconut yogurt, on its own, can taste slightly like coconut, but this can vary from product to product.
