Butter two slices of bread and lay the cheese on the unbuttered side of one slice of bread. Close the sandwich with the other slice, buttered side facing upwards.
Transfer the sandwich to the frying pan, and fry for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden, crispy, and melty.
