A refreshing and creamy dairy free beverage made with fresh strawberry syrup and creamy plant based milk. Made with 3 simple ingredients, it's sure to be your new go to drink.
1tablespoonwhite sugarcan use honey or maple syrup instead

plant milkI used oat milk, I reccomend oat, coconut or almond.

Instructions
Chop the strawberries into very small pieces, small enough to fit through a straw.
Heat a heavy bottomed pot on medium high heat and add the strawberries, sugar and lemon juice.
As they heat, the strawberries will release juice. Bring to a simmer and lower the heat to medium low. Let cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
The strawberries should become very soft, the mixture should be syrupy and look like jam. Set aside to cool for 15-20 minutes.
Add a tablespoon or two of the strawberry sauce to a glass and use the back of a spoon to push it up the sides to create a pattern.
Fill the glass with plant milk and stir with a straw.
