Crusty French bread dipped in a thick vegan eggnog mixture, then pan-fried in vegan butter until it's crispy on the edges and super luscious and soft on the inside. Top with more vegan butter, plant-based whipped cream, a dash of grated nutmeg, and real maple syrup.

Instructions
Follow the instructions on your vegan egg replacement packaging, or skip and use an equal amount of cornstarch.
Heat a large nonstick pan on medium heat.
In a wide dish, like a casserole dish, whisk together the vegan eggnog, egg replacement, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Set aside.
Add a tablespoon of butter to the pan. Once melted, dip a slice of bread into the eggnog mixture. Move it around to coat it, then flip it and coat the other side. Let the excess drip off before placing it into the pan.
Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the edges start to get dark and crispy looking. Flip the piece of bread. The top should look moist but not wet. Cook for another 2-3 minutes and then transfer to a plate.
Repeat with the remaining slices of bread.
Serve the French toast with butter, maple syrup, vegan whipped cream, and a dash of ground nutmeg.
