Butter the slices of bread and place them buttered sides down, on a piece of plastic wrap to prevent sticking.
Distribute the cheese between two slices of bread.
Top the cheese with the remaining slices of bread, buttered sides facing up.
Cut the sandwiches into 4 strips, and cut each strip into 4 cubes. You should have 16 pieces.
Transfer the pieces to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 12-14 minutes at 350°F/180°C, flipping halfway.

- 1 baking sheet
Ingredients
- 4 slices bread I used white bread
- 30 grams cheddar cheese sliced
- 30 grams mozzarella cheese sliced
- 2 tabespoons softened butter or margarine
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place a small piece of plastic wrap on your counter top. Butter each slice of bread on one side and place two of them, butter sides down, onto the plastic wrap.
- Divide the cheese between the two pieces of bread, and then top with the last two slices of bread. The buttered sides of the bread should be facing upward.
- Slice each sandwich into 4 pieces, then cut each strip into 4 squares. You should have 16 squares per sandwich. Carefully transfer the pieces to the baking sheet.
- Bake for 6-7 minutes, and then flip. Bake for another 6-7 minutes until the bread is lightly toasted and the cheese is melted.
